UNCLE FUNKY'S DAUGHTER

A company dedicated to curly hair care products, created to serve the curly hair community and manage their hair naturally. Uncle Funky’s Daughter’s product line includes Eco-friendly cleansers, conditioners, moisturizers, and curl definers, using renewable plant resources of aloe, coconut, and olive as bases.

Brand identity re-design

On the old brand was an image of a woman with an afro in the center, which needed to be replaced with one that reflects the global curly hair market. The new labels were carefully designed to be aligned with the aesthetics of the original labels to provide a smooth transition into the market.

 

The new logo consists of eight interconnecting circles, forming a geometrical pattern in radial balance. In between this circles, gaps of 8 are created, from center to end, with an 8 point star in the middle. This symbol represents the universe and signifies balance, unity, and harmony with nature.
